Terry Architects is a full service architecture practice committed to high quality design and personalized service. Our specialty is custom residential projects, remodels, and vacation homes.  A  project's character is derived by listening to our clients vision, working with their budget and understanding their lifestyle. Each new project begins with a thorough investigation of the site and its natural characteristics.  An important component of this review is the determination of potential critical areas, steep slopes or shoreline issues which will impact design, schedule and budget parameters. Whether it be a pristine high-bluff waterfront property or an existing urban residence in need of attention, Terry Architects has the experience,creativity and consultant team necessary to make your project a success. Ultimately, we believe that fostering an atmosphere of open communication with Owner, builder and consultants helps build the strong team necessary to create a building that not only realizes our client's dreams, but also enhances its surrounding environment.

Eric Terry

After starting his career working in the custom residential market of Sun Valley, Idaho, Eric Terry moved to and settled down in Seattle. He quickly began designing custom homes, remodels, vacation cabins and a variety of commercial projects all over the Northwest. After several years with both a small firm and working as a sole proprietor, Eric accepted an offer from GGLO, a prominent Seattle firm.  While Eric enjoyed the diversity of work and the creative atmosphere at GGLO, he found himself looking to return to a setting where a more intimate relationship could be developed with both the project and the clients. He found that in a partnership with Todd Soli which lasted almost 10 years and included custom residences, remodels and vacation homes around the Northwest and beyond with small offices in Seattle, Bainbridge and Whidbey Island.
